I run it in Coherence mode, which means my Windows applications appear in my dock (each has two parallel red lines to indicate it's a Windows application). I have read negative reviews claiming that performance suffers if you do that, but that's not my experience. My Windows programs work just fine in Coherence mode, which is how my family member runs her iMac also.
Keep in mind that there is no CD in this box, just a product key. You have to download this from the Internet.
