Typical day at work would start off with replenishing the shelves and making sure the shoes and bags looked desirable to customers. Stock would be delivered before 8am every day along with customer orders which would be left in the back for the employees to take down 2 flights of stairs, check off and put away, this probably was the hardest part of the job as I'm very neat, not all others were and not everyone understood how to make sure the stock room was tidy. The stock had to be alphabetised and in size order and my major gripe and the least enjoyable part would be having to constantly tidy up others mess and mistakes. As a previous assistant manager I found it hard not seeing the management manage the stock room.The most enjoyable part of the job was selling face to face to customers, chatting to them about their likes and selling to them. I am a natural sales person so would assist in training new staff or those who weren't performing very well or struggling to close a sale.
